Both Alvarado residents and non-residents are welcome to participate in City sponsored events.

Parks & Recreation
Hours of operation for City parks are as follows:
- Neighborhood, linear and natural area parks (to include park pavilions and gazebo) 5am - 10pm daily
- Community and City parks 5am - 10pm daily
- Lake parks 5am-12am daily (for all activities except fishing related activities)
- The Alvarado Boat Ramp is open during normal lake hours 5am-12am daily

Yes, all parks are ADA accessible.

Parks & Recreation
Rentals are available to both Alvarado residents and non-residents. However, rental fees are based on residency.
Rental fees for Residents:
- $30 deposit, plus $10 per hour (2 hour minimum)
Rental fees for Non-Residents:
- $30 deposit, plus $15 per hour (2 hour minimum)
Proof of residency is required.
